ROME DAY TOUR ON HIGH SPEED TRAIN FROM FLORENCE

An easy trip from Florence by taking the high speed train in Exectuve or first class to arrive after one a half hours in Rome.  Upon arrival you will be picked up by your Chauffeur driver and expert guide to tour the main sites that will include the Via Veneto, where Federico Fellini's 'La Dolce Vita' was filmed.  Visit the largest baroque fountain in the city The Trevi Fountain. 

Continue to the Spanish Steps followed by the picturesque Piazza Navona with Bernini's masterpiece the Four Rivers Fountain that represents four major rivers of four continents.  Along the way you can admire Piazza Colonna with the majestic Column of Marcus Aurelius and the Pantheon, built in the 1st century BC which preserves the widest dome in the world. Enjoy an espresso stop at a local bar continue your visit along the Tiber River where you will see Teatro Marcello, Castel Sant Angelo, Vatican City and Trastevere. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. 

After lunch meet your driver and guide to continue to the Colosseum for a tour of the most famous monument in Italy. Bid farewell to your guide at the Central Train Station in Rome to take the high speed train back to Florence.
